Pol Roger Rackets and Real Tennis Sponsorship

Pol Roger's association with these more arcane versions of racket sports grew from its annual sponsorship of the Varsity Blind Wine Tasting Competition. These ancient institutions still have teams competing in traditional games such as “Rackets”. Pol Roger now provide a “Varsity Rackets Trophy” for the annual competition (Tuesday 8th March at Queens Club, London). University teams even play a version of racketless tennis, called “Fives”. Again Pol Roger sponsor the annual Varsity Fives competition which takes place every February at Eton College. More familiar, but still rare, is Real Tennis (Jeu de Paume) played in the time of Henry VIII. Pol Roger sponsor the Men's and Ladies' Varsity Competitions every February (this year on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th at Lords) as well as supporting The Field Trophy and Brodie Cup national knock-out tournaments (Sunday 13th March at Moreton Morell and Hyde) . Pol Roger also support both the Mens and Ladies Varsity Law Tennis Competitions.
